#002 Barron Wesley

I finished it yesterday and it's being taken by its new owner today. So much for the love story... Time for the next one to start...

By the way, it's a KTM-9 finish for those interested..

Nice! Beautiful work. I especially like the control plate cover and the nut. I could never play it with the action that low, but that's personal preference and nothing to do with the quality of the work. Really nice!

Thanks - ya, the person it went to likes that very low action. I like a little room for bounce.. :D

Yeah, I like to be able to dig in and get my fingers under the strings when I bend. But you gotta give 'em what they want.
In looking at it a little more, I also like the position of the selector switch. Out of the way, but you can get to it quick if you need to. What wood is the fretboard? Body and neck? What pups, if you don't mind?

Fingerboard is rosewood, body and neck is african mahogany, and the top is maple. Pickups were wound for me from a guy in New York named Mike Manlius. manliusguitars.com
I had him wind me a 16k bridge and 9k neck. They also split as the tone pot is a push/pull.
